First off, detail nitpick. The Others was a largely Spanish production, so it doesn’t really count as part of “Hollywood’s then ongoing pillaging of Spanish horror films and directors.” This was just a Spanish filmmaker making a Spanish movie intended for an international audience.

What a complete and utter waste of everyone’s time. Why does anyone think a remake of this movie is in any way needed? The original really is perfect as is. Great atmosphere, great acting, great twist, holds up after multiple viewings. A remake just isn’t going to measure up.

Agreed. Most people would not have a place to without rental properties. Slumlords are bad but anybody trying make an honest living renting out home or apartments are not the bad guys.

I have no issues with Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard owning a building and I think they’re being really good landlords by not charging rent for April. It’s decent and I wish my apartment complex would do the same.
