I haven't seen this yet at all but that has to be a Statler and Waldorf exchange. I got a twinge of hope in reading this.

That was sorta the implication of my "too easy" comment but I got lazy and didn't see it through. This is status quo for Eli Roth. I looked up the actor (Aaron Burns) because I thought he was pretty darn cute and he's got a bit of a production pedigree with genre films which I guess is to be expected when your mom is…
Everything is coming up Coates! Stoked for this.
Touché. But still.
In fairness, while I've found the show to be enjoyable, it doesn't even come close to capturing what made his memoir such a wonderful read.
So we're just not going to talk about how it's the black dude that is getting cut and/or killed (presumably) first? Too easy?
Are you referring to the article that attempts to summarize that Campbell and Manning sociology paper on "microaggressions?" I have it earmarked for reading. It sounds pretty interesting because science.
Way to zero in on my favorite part of BotNS. Wasn't it everyone's?
When I saw Dope the first few times Zoe Kravitz appeared on screen I kept thinking to myself "who is this fake-ass Lisa Bonet?" (all shade). Mind you, I'd seen Zoe Kravitz in several movies at this point and was well aware that she was Lisa Bonet's daughter. I just didn't recognize her for some reason. A quarter of…
My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic (When It's Codependent)
On the real, this song used to bug me big time for pretty much the exact same reason. It seemed uncharacteristically shallow and materialistic for TLC. It was a long time before I came to appreciate it for the fun pop song that it is. Like years.
I'm only 17 pages into this sucker and wishing it was filmed instead of my beloved Dream Warriors. What nightmares I would've had! "A rookery of hungry demand…"
That's actually his Al Sah-him costume. So you know he means business. Or does he?
There's a line spoken by Jessica Biel's character "Lara" in The Rules of Attraction where she says "Whatever, I don't care, I don't major in math." This somehow got shortened to "whatever, I didn't major in math" with me and a friend of mind. It's kind of a catchall phrase for whenever we don't understand something,…
Pump it Up was indeed great and so was Dee Barnes. If I remember correctly, it used to air on Saturday afternoons in New Orleans. Dee was such an affable and gregarious host and very clearly a fan of hip-hop. I was pretty devastated back then to hear that Dre assaulted her so viciously and it has never left my memory.
Pretty sure that's Michael B. Jordan.
I wish people would stop trying to make "quirky" happen.
I really liked the Inception riff that birthed Scary Terry but the dialogue and timing in the Snuffles/Snowball plot is what got me really excited for the remaining eps.
Coincidentally, I watched that ep of Rick and Morty for the first time last night and was saying this exact line to myself this morning and totally cracking the fuck up. I'm excited to watch the rest of it.
I support this.
