He's no elitist, he raves about lots of affordable cars. He's simply not a fan of the Miata, says it's "sloppy" - which it is. I love the way Miatas drive, but they're far from precision tools - they're made to be flogged about all ragged, not for clipping apexes with millimetric precision.

Odd how the MR2 gets so much graft for not being practical, yet it offered 90% of the fun and handling/ride delicacy of an Elise (which was just as impractical if not more) for a fraction of the price.

Daimler SP250

It's not a TVR. Peter Wheeler had left TVR when this thing was developed.

I see you're an AW11 fan. I had one with a blacktop. I miss that car.

Would make a bitchin' platform for a 20V 4AGE swap.

I've had a few myself. The superchargers were ridiculously quick, especially with a grunt box and drive pulley - stock they were the quickest 0-30 car in the world when new. I agree that the NA was sharper, purer - I had both stock USDM bigport and 20V blacktop motors in one, the 20V was my favorite of all.

AW11s are among the most underrated sports cars ever built. Cosworth BDA clone motor, riflebolt shifter, feelsome manual steering rack, playful, reponsive handling and clever packaging. If it were European they'd be selling for 10 times as much.

Why not sell them to Canada? Isn't Wisconsin desperately in need of money?

Dolan?

Yes, it takes no talent whatsoever to produce music.

I'm not hating, you did backpeddle - you admitted he has talent, that's a backpeddle.

Way to back-peddle. Thanks, I can rest now.

Fun fact, his face skin doesn't move a millimeter at a topless 250 MPH.

You're a fool. I don't like Kenny Chesney, but I can admit he's talented. I don't like conservative politics, but I can admit they have talented strategists. Let's see you make a beat or compose a song.

"he's just not creative or talented."

Why not just use shells? These cars aren't used for demonstrations, so theoretically they can have anything under the hood - just use a mockup 3D printout dressed up to represent the parts being marketed and no one will ever know the difference.

TG: Have things worked out the way you thought?

I haz it.

Just made this. I realize it's a little obtuse for gearheads, but I LOL'd at myself. Found on Shin's blog, which is sadly no longer updated.
