I fucking hate Twitter. I left Facebook at the end of May and have absolutely no plans of returning. They’ve become cauldrons of misery...the playgrounds of trolls.

I think it’s actually worse than that, precisely because it’s not going to be cemented permanently. Republicans seem to be under the impression that if people can’t get their needs met through small-d democratic means, then they will just give up on their needs being met.

I just don’t understand why they’d do this. Why would they give such a tacit endorsement to the racism and white grievance culture that this represents? I appreciate that these invitations are traditional and everything but I really thought Trump would draw the line somewhere.
