Me too, the original headline was powerful, the new one is just a summary of the article.

It really bothers me that the sign says "Big Jay Earl's."

Did she get married on Fat Tuesday or something?

Grand Prospect Hall!! Oh I miss those commercials, California is the worst.

The pose makes this

My problem is not so much the way in which she reached out, it's that I think that the school did listen to her and did address her complaints. So making a huge commotion won't really accomplish much in that there's nothing else for the school to do here. Unlike other scenarios where publicity could cause a school

I actually agree most of what you've said. I hadn't personally realized that the multi-student format would be a problem, as I'd been thinking of it sort of like sex ed where the boys and girls get separated. If that goes against best practices then I agree with you that the teacher was in the wrong.

Seriously. The girl had her underarms shaved because the teacher was TEACHING THEM HOW TO SHAVE.

Woah, wait. First of all this is a life skills class for "children with intellectual and some physical disabilities," not 8th grade homeroom. And it was in front of two other girls in the same class, who presumably were learning how to shave as well.

Will this work?

This article isn't about becoming "part of" Heads Up, the article is about the $25 certification. No one said otherwise.

How out of touch with reality do you have to be to make an excuse like "it wasn't rape because I stopped when she started to cry." Hey asshole, during consensual sex people generally don't cry from fear and pain during the middle of it.

Is that a pun?

This is kind of off-topic but I am really pleased with the Daily News. I grew up in the tri-state area and always thought the NYDN and the Post were one and the same, but at least in the past few years they're really not. The NYDN had absolutely fantastic coverage of Sandy, and ever since I've used them for reliable

So it's not gone gone, but I can't find this lotion anywhere but the travel size section of bed bath and beyond. This is the best lotion in the whole world. It's silky but not oily, and it spreads really well and it's so wonderful and now I have to save it up and use it very sparingly which is sad.

If I said you had a nice body would you take off your pants and dance around a little?

My aunt is a retired home ec teacher, you should see the scenes she can create with pie crust. It's amazing, I love Thanksgiving.

But what you're describing isn't the slippery slope they're concerned about. The slippery slope is determining how graphic something has to be before the trigger label is applied. It might be obvious if there's a long, involved first-person account, but what about a brief, but factual description?
