Everything about Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace was brilliant but Matt Berry was my favorite part.

Forget about the fact that we know Spider-Man will be brought back somehow. In the moment we saw a terrified teenage kid realize he’s about to be wiped from existence. And the last thing he does is apologize. I thought it was effective as hell even though I knew in the moment that it would be undone in the next one.…

Are you sure this “quilt cover” isn’t just a big sheet of fiberglass insulation?
This is the biggest scandal since POO was found to have been cheating.
They should go after the duo of DIK and ASS next, as there is no way two people could have that many high scores all across the country without cheating.
30 Seconds to Mars is actually pretty damn decent. Particularly their first two albums. Absolutely terrible live though. Leto seems to method act what he thinks a rock band frontman is supposed to do. Insane amount of wandering about the stage and talking to the crowd while the band plays the same few bars over and…
I really liked Allison Mack from her Smallville days and she seemed to exude intelligence and confidence in her words and her smile. But as Hamlet said, “One may smile and smile and be a villain.” She had me fooled. I hope she does hard, hard time for what she’s done.
“David we love the script but we just want to change the ending. Let’s have the police chase Zodiac through the streets of San Francisco ending with a standoff on the Golden Gate Bridge. One of the officers yells, “What’s my sign, bitch?” and shoots Zodiac in the shoulder, pushing him off the bridge into the water.…
Rule of Thumb——If Man Made it, dont eat it, also if it comes in a box.
Batman was just a prelude to Michael Keaton’s true magnum opus. That’s right, I’m talking about Multiplicity.
Feels like it was rushed into production, and they’re asking the audience to stick around while they finish their homework from three months ago.
I think it did a really great job of jumping back into it with The Bachelor and from there it captured the energy of the old show nearly perfectly. I agree about the background, but I’m hoping they’ll change it up week to week or something.
I really hope they bring back some old segments, or at least create some new ones with similar themes.
Yeah, there really wasn’t a lot here to make me want to watch episode two. Maybe I’ll check back in down the road a bit, because I really like Joel McHale, but all this got from me were a couple of (brief) chuckles during the Korean soap opera segment.
I feel like it will be funny, but hasn’t gotten there yet or at least I hope. It’s like the timing doesn’t land just yet, but it has all the pieces there to work. They said the staff had about a month so possibly they’re just getting used to one another.
My thought - and I could be wrong - was that all the characters are still in the afterlife, and this is a simulation, so all the languages/accents are still corrected like they were throughout the first two seasons. Michael and the Judge didn’t actually bring them back to life (right?) and go back in time/change the…
Obviously the proper solution would have been to replace Michelle Williams with $5 million worth of CGIed giant robots. Which is actually a very small amount of CGIed giant robots from what I understand of visual effects budgets.
[Warning: A headline including the phrase “sexual battery” is not sufficient indication that the post will discuss sexual sexual assault.]
One movie that isn’t on here that I’m excited for is Mute which comes out in February distributed on Netflix. Directed by Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code, Warcraft), Mute is supposed to be a spiritual sequel to Moon (which is one of my favorite sci-fi movies), synopsis given below:
“Berlin. Forty years from today. Leo…
