Yes, he did wear a Bears jersey to the White House. I'm a Packers fan and I remember it, although I chalked it up to "McMahon being McMahon". But there were a bunch of Green Bay rooters who got their collective panties in a twist over that one.

In 1977 Elvis died — 36 years ago this week. I remember watching this concert (it was on CBS a few weeks before he died) and I remember my Dad commenting, "Boy, he looks fat."
