I just had my knee repaired. I don't have a lot of really exciting things going on. But thanks for the sarcastic good recovery vibes.

...yeah, that was sort of the point of the post, Owen. But thanks for validating the obvious. You're very helpful.
Yeah, dude, I was probably the only person to include his handle in a tweet the same day he got named to the All-Star team...wait...wait...nope. If you're going to be an ass, at least be intelligent. It's infinitely more effective.
Real quick, for those of you who just get on the internet to debate senseless bullshit, this article was about KD being grumpy on twitter. SO I POSTED A TIME WHEN HE WAS GRUMPY ON TWITTER. That's all this was ever about. Ya'll need to get some more chill (and some less damn time, apparently.)
I don't like the idea of saying that the fans are too stupid to know better as a reason for leaving a worthy player off and putting an unworthy player on. I'm obviously aware KD has a big name. That's not a good enough reason. If the fans wanted him on so bad, they'd have put him there themselves.
I have much less of a problem with RW making it than KD. I'm a big Russ fan. And maybe if he made it, but KD didn't (and Lillard did), it would annoy me less that a tenth place team has two All-Stars.
I'll just delete it, dude. This is literally the first thing I've ever posted on Deadspin because most of the people on here, like you, are just dicks who get on here to make people feel bad. I posted it because I thought the article was hilariously similar to a pretty weird experience I just had as a normal dude who,…
And, for the record, I never said he was a dick for no reason. I said he was "kind of a dick," and I think we both know exactly the reason. The truth hurts. Even to KD. ;). Peace and love to ya.
It was the day they released the rosters...I'm not allowed to be pissed about something I disagree with for the sport that I watch the most of for more than a few hours? Damn, son.
On the contraire. I just watch a lot of ball and hate seeing dudes like Lillard this year or Dragic last year get left off because they play in small markets or for less "big TV" teams. Westbrook and KD are phenomenal. And, frankly, I hope both of our squads can find a way to get in. I don't think the Spurs are…
Jeeesus, man, clearly that's not the point of my initial post. I'm letting this fish go.
I said "kind of a dick" in a post on an article about him being grumpy. Seems pretty relevant to the article. But it also seems like most of the clowns responding here think that arguing pointless semantics is the norm.
Y'all are seriously debating the semantics of the word "generally" right now? Okay, sure.
Y'all are seriously debating the semantics of the word "generally" right now? Okay, sure.
I'm extremely confused what you're asking.
You're preaching the choir here, homie. I'm a huge Russ fan. I think he could be an MVP. We all know KD's an MVP. But, IMO, the ASG is about who's been the best so far this season. And if a dude contributed in less than half of his team's games, dude shouldn't be in the game. That's my take on it. Do I count him, Russ…
Dude, KD has played less than half of the season and his team isn't good. You can't give him the benefit of the doubt because he didn't play. That's so incredibly illogical. You really want to tell me that he deserves to be in and Lillard doesn't? Come on.
Especially considering calling out two All-Stars from a tenth place team is about as far from general as possible. Since, you know, only one team and two players would fit that particular set of circumstances. But good try. Maybe next time.
I'd have thought someone so annoyingly combing semantics would have thought of that...but maybe that's just me.
General in the context that I didn't specify why they shouldn't be All Stars. Though there are many, many reasons.
