It is called the Air Tie, and it is awesome.

For guys, shirts buttoned up the top with no tie has been a trend in the UK for a few years now. It's a definite thing here. I didn't like it at first but it's such a normal thing to see now that it doesn't bother me anymore.

I spent 5 years of my career as a recruiter, three of them recruiting specifically for scientific fields. I would get resumes from people who took 3 chemistry classes in college and felt that because they "love makeup" or they were "born with it" that qualified them to be a cosmetic chemist.

It sounds like this person is a victim of not having anyone to proof read and tell her/him that she/he sounds like an idiot.

I actually don't know if the applicant is a woman or a man but yes, we should applaud anyone who wants to get in this field.

This is pretty low. A cover letter is supposed to help you show the hiring manager what you can bring to a new job, and this woman wants to use skills she's gained in the past to be a victim advocate in the future. This is probably an entry level job for her, or she'd be talkinga bout her criminal justice experience.…

I'll bet Beyonce' isn't currently filling in a bald spot in her right eyebrow, is she? If she DID have an unintended bald spot in her right eyebrow, what the hell would she do about it? And how the hell long will it take to grow in?!!

Middle class boarding school girl here (like Kate) and I sound just like her. It's a middle-class-but-raised-amongst-posh-people accent. "Suppawt" is just the English English pronunciation, though, I don't know anyone who pronounces it differently.

I thought her accent was weird/unusual.

Don't expect to make money in photography, it's saturated badly by all the people that buy a DSLR and then think they are a pro. They will do a wedding for $300.00, Portraits for $25.00 and generally make it impossible for anyone that really wants to make money to be successful.
