@cps68500: I've been using SlideIT for the last few days and find it very usable in the absence of Swype or Shapewriter. Everything has quirks, but I love the overall speed increase I get. No more pecking at the keyboard screen in portrait mode.

Indeed it is very tasty. Just got it on my N1, after a lot of grief from the swype servers. The keyboard is really great though. Will buy once the beta is up.
