While that’s indeed true, the point is to properly manage your time and expectations in a realistic sense.

If you’re not getting all the work done you set out to do, what you need to do is take a step back and a more realistic approach to how you’re planning your day. This is a time management thing.
When I was younger, I had an acquaintance that used to work in a restaurant and had a similar complaint. She hated being asked about food recommendations and her response to me was that she would always recommend the worst sounding dish. I don’t remember what the dish was but when I say it was the worst sounding dish,…
I couldn’t agree more. ALWAYS, always, always check your pay stub. The company I worked for had a plethora of paycheck issues. Every single week I had to fix employees paychecks.
I’m just curious though based on the article and especially the section about “they aren’t assholes themselves”. Is it possible to be a good parent if you’re an asshole or aren’t perfect yourself?
I think having a real bowl of ramen, not that stuff in the brick or Styrofoam cup is on my bucket list. I don’t want to make my own ramen first because all I have to compare it to is the cups/bricks lol
Best notebook I have ever owned and used, Microsoft OneNote, hands down! Even if you don’t do anything flashy, writing things and then being able to search for them based on a keyword is so much easier than thumbing through pages.
Especially any sort of error correction. If you’re going to scribble things out, it becomes a pain. Likewise, if you’re crumpling up paper, you’re wasting time re-writing things that had no problem to begin with, introducing the potential for more errors.
Agreed! I mean outside of the obvious, I bet it would be interesting!
If you’re going to take steps backwards to calculate expenses, why not use an abacus?
Agreed. I’d wear whatever I want, when I want. If it becomes known to me that someone has an issue, then I’ll address it accordingly.
I totally get what you’re saying and its commendable but where is the compromise? When does the individual you’re “considering” get to “consider” your lifestyle and just deal with it so you can have at least 1 day where you feel good, smell fresh, etc.
The only time I was ever going to use Venmo was to send money to a friend who’s wife was going to buy hockey tickets so that a bunch of us could sit together but that never came to fruition.
Yeah, why not. That sounds like a sensible solution that seems to work for the rest of the world.
I’d hardly call that keeping tabs but I suppose you could argue semantics. To me, keeping tabs is documenting who paid for what, how much it was, and when it occurred. With the express intent on getting back 100% of whatever money or effort you put into it.
This is also why I advocate going with a credit union vs a traditional bank.
Or ya know, walk a few feet to the nearest ATM and get out cash to pay the friend back? Or my favorite, have friends that don’t keep tabs like that.
This is why I never tip. I just assumed you were tipping for me.
Say thank you and then tip. Chances are, if you say thank you, they’ll turn around to face you to say you’re welcome.
Understandably, Tor itself isn’t a browser but I’m fairly confident that the OP is referencing the Tor Browser which is in this section of the link you posted and is based on Firefox from what I can tell.
