I was on vacation at a resort outside of Puerto Vallarta and out of curiosity I rode the bus into town for a day. It was Good Friday and I was able to watch the procession of the faithful through the streets of the city into the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe. It was perhaps the most memorable thing about my trip.
The Sikh temple near my house is really beautiful and I would love to see the interior. I just may pay it a visit.
I’m making steady progress on paying down $6k in credit card debt by forgoing most non-food purchases and learning to repair clothing rather than replace it. Life without money is pretty boring now, but I have a stack of free books to keep me busy and I walk a mile in the park after work.
I knew we achieved Peak Vinyl when my local Goodwill & Savers stores raised prices on used Herb Alpert records from $1 to $4. Now the millennials are releasing music on cassette.

My mom gave my 1970s Legos to my neighbor to give to her preschool-aged son. When my son was born, that same neighbor returned my old Legos. I was happier than my kid to have them back.
