The driver of the Smart car - a 60 year-old man - did not die as a result of this crash. I think that speaks volumes about the relative safety of the Smart car.
A curious statement here, since this Smart Car seems to have protected its driver from dying in a severe crash.
Not only that, but it was a cop car with a push bar that circumvents the impact absorbing bumper and crumple zone. That Smart car is impressive.
It’s almost like all the camera phones create an EMP that disrupts the cars computers and forces the traction control settings, brakes and accelerator to all malfunction at once.
You know it wasn’t a Mustang because it turned away from the pedestrians.
