It’s 100% getting to market first. A ton of people would pay a ton of money to be able to “drive” anywhere while being able to sleep, read, watch tv, whatever. Whichever company does this first will make so much money.

Oil money is what keeps Alaska solvent. Every Alaskan received a check for $2072 in 2015 from the oil fund. In 2017, it was only $1100. This is the single most important thing to Alaskans. If they have to drill baby drill to get those checks back so be it.
