Probably from one of those sequels that I will never see.

Great explanation, thanks!

I eventually decided it's so they can sell us DX later. Or maybe I'm just cynical.

Break out the rock salt, but some interesting names, would love for this to be true...

I. Did. Not. Need. To. Know. That. I should be a proper wreck after the midnight showing of Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows pt. 2...

*cries, stares resentfully at WP7 phone, Kindle*

The length of a handheld console generation is far longer than the time before a new phone seems clunky. I'd go Vita, but wait for it to go on sale if you can and save your money until then. /two cents

But how many toes on the statue of Tawaret?

M.D.! You old Softee! Good to see you rising to the occasion of that sweet tweet!

My kids have become tolerant of watching subtitled movies, maybe we'll try that. I don't know why but I am much more tolerant of dubbing with animated movies. I don't usually watch dubbed versions of live action films. I watch Princess Mononoke with subtitles though, I really wasn't a fan of the dub on that one.

He holds up a vague (at least in terms of facts not derived from faith) grouping of "social science, the wisdom of our religious traditions, and the [there it is again] simple common sense of our lived experience" against gay marriage. Of course a lot of the "social science" arrayed against gay marriage is actually

Because everybody assumes we're morons, or at least there are morons here that would buy the dvd if they recognize the names on the box, in addition to the fans of Miyazaki who will buy it regardless. But I'm importing.

I'll be picking up the British dub, having quickly checked to see that the PS3 is region-free (but only in hi-def, it can't handle the 576i PAL standard, apparently?). I like all those folks, but I want acting, not stunt casting. That said, I didn't mind Tina Fey in Ponyo, although Liam Neeson was in Qui-Gon mode, and

I heartily approve of Patton Oswalt remaking movies as Batman stories. I am ashamed that having typed that, the word (?) 'Batatouille' popped into my head. But I would read the hell out of either of those.

Glad to see someone caught the M reference... normally I would hit ctrl-F to check, but a text search for the letter M would have been pretty ineffective. Maybe someday DC's animation wing can do something with the pitch and John Kricfalusi can play J.

I remember watching Dream On (I would have been 18) and of course enjoying nudity on a television show, I mean Muppet Babies with boobs, what's not to like, but... after a few episodes, I began to wonder... is the nudity mandatory? Feels kind of creepy. And in almost all your shows? Creepy. I like and have liked a lot

Flame on, I'm gone, I'm so sweet like a nice bon-bon....

Oh, damn. Looking through others' responses, I totally forgot about Ocarina of Time. I'll probably play that while my kids are playing N+ or Lego Batman.

I plan on putting in some time with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, 3D Dot Game Heroes (off to town to buy some potions, that dragon in the Fire Temple is really testing my patience), Valkyria Chronicles and Folklore (thanks to mintycrys for the recommendation). Yes, I'm new to the world of Sony console ownership. But

I finally got a PS3, so I'm saving money (kind of) by catching up on the great PS3 exclusives that I've missed, and will be waiting for price drops or sales for most of these games (except probably Skyrim, and maybe the Mario game for the 3DS). I mostly play single-player and local multiplayer, so as long as I have
