@grampaspanky: Got it. This is why I should just work and not try to read and comment at the same time (I was on the phone).

@Maximus Thunderclap: Because I can't read (multi-tasking is overrated).
@juriko: I'm glad I'm not alone. I see a lot of praise for TP's graphics, and de Gustibus non disputandam, but to me the game's looks were not its strong point. The same goes for the N64 generation... Super Mario 64 is obviously not the prettiest game ever made, but the graphics hold up, again because of the more…
@p4w4rr10r: There were some things I liked the look of in Twilight Princess, but the overall look of Link and the natural world seemed kind of rough and ugly, in the uncanny valley way of Ocarina of Time. Maybe it looked better on SD TVs, though Galaxy looks phenomenal, due to its (more) stylized look. I'm not…
@dropdeadcriminal: I was struck by this comment as well, a veteran and paragon of FPS game development expressing preference for twin analog sticks over mouse and keyboard. I happen to agree (my first FPS experiences were certainly on PC), and I think that it's largely a matter of personal preference, but it was still…
@SimpleMcSimpleton: Agreed. I couldn't stop staring.
@cushenstein: Thanks for the insight, and congrats on the star!
@cushenstein: I'm sure Microsoft would be fighting uphill in Japan anyway, but do you think this association has harmed 36o sales there, or is it not that big a deal? Obviously adult games have a higher acceptance in Japan, but the association of 36o fans with a word that translates as 'molester' seems harsh from my…
@Daniel: I agree... It's easy to understand why the game was inadequate at release. This kind of thing is common with movie tie-ins due to the arbitrary release deadline. What's uncommon is actually expending resources post-release to make sure people get to play the game the WHA wanted to make.
@AWildAbra: MS has said that some avatar clothing/accessories would be unavailable during the beta, but that everything should be fine once the update goes live for everybody.
If this thing doesn't play PSP games or PSP2 games, and Sony thinks they're going to compete with Apple's app store, well... they're wrong. Anyone into gaming will just get a PSP/2 or a DSi/3DS. Anyone interested in gadgets or smartphones will get an iPhone. This monstrosity is both too specialized and not specialized…
@gods-n-clods: I meant a Tarantino Star Wars will never happen. I hope to god we get a Tarantino SF movie at some point.
@Sakurafire: 'Going a bit overboard'... ever heard of hyperbole? And I wasn't personally blaming her, I think it's laughable.
@CerealBizness: That's the CG animation studio that did the amazing Force Unleashed II ad that's been running? If so, yes, please.
@Randall Dorn: Based on some comments Lucas has made, the veracity of which is disputed, the original plan was a master story where episodes 7-9 are the conclusion of the Skywalkers' story. So, theoretically, the new trilogy could be episodes 10-12.
@Sakurafire: She feels she got joined to an object along an inclined plane wrapped helically around an axis due to her continuity getting stepped on. There are also Star Wars fans that want to kill her because she understated the amount of clones defending the Republic, or something. I doubt she would get involved,…
Without being hamstrung by having to fill in the blanks in a story that is mostly known, and if Lucas remains open to accepting help (Spielberg was involved in Ep. III, the best of the prequels), this could be not terrible. Obviously, the best thing would be to have someone else write or at least polish the script…
@goldenroad: I'm not so sure of McWhertor's Phish fandom... I read it more as 'Brilliant... classic... entertaining... and also, Phish.
@JumpyJacks: Luigi's Mansion!
@theriverbedpt7: Is Costume Quest out??!!
