@koichan: In some Zelda games you have a ranged attack until you take a single hit, ramping up the difficulty as now you have to engage in close quarters battle. I assume this was the inspiration behind the giant sword. Yeah, it's frustrating, but hopefully Atlus managed to make it frustrating in an old-school, fun

@VincentGrey: I didn't read the article or your comment, but I'm offended!

@VincentGrey: There's a guy at my office who swears up and down that he's never masturbated, and that furthermore, masturbation is 'gay' (which I don't have a problem with, but which he doesn't like to contemplate) because it's "a man touching a man".

Now playing

@PhantomVI: Not sure how in on the joke Insane Clown Posse actually is, but SNL made the same mistake trying to parody 'Miracles' which already satirizes itself within an inch of its own live.

"We're going to be coming... buckets"

@Comban: I've got plenty of hands and genitals, but 'tooting' is done with the mouth. I have one of those, too, but I can't get it close enough to the ol' horn.

@bakagaijin: The other thing about the internet... I just imagined a Statler/Waldorf/Yoda Lemon Party.

@BryanH: If I could 'toot my own horn', I'd never leave my apartment...

@BubbleF**kingBuddy: RotJ owns until they get off Tatooine, then it's all downhill. And Lucas really put the cherry on top with Jar-Jar's "Weesa Free!" in the montage of liberated planets...

@MentionedTenderly: A bit of nihlism is understandable in a (recently diagnosed?) cancer patient. His friends 'Dude he has cancer' points towards a recent diagnosis as well... surely several years on and he wouldn't be out for pints and his friends wouldn't be defending his bitter asshattery. But on the other hand,

@MAULINNN: I'm pretty sure Stephen Totilo mentioned the embargo will be lifted tomorrow. I want to say 9am? but less sure of that.

Could some kind Kotakuite tell me the best way to earn some bread in Chapter 11 of FFXIII? I don't want to accidentally see spoilers, or I'm sure I could look it up somewhere. I haven't gotten to the town yet (afraid to advance the story into Ch. 12 before I've leveled up my weapons and pimped my Crystarium somewhat)

@Makoto: Amazon delivers some models, or call around to hardware stores...

@Makoto: aroud $400... did I mention the dryer?

@Makoto: Pressure activated heated seat, with adjustable temperature heated water jets for cleaning purposes.

@badasscat: I posted this before I read your comment, but I'd like to share it with you. The picture I refer to is of Marcel Duchamp's 'Fountain'.

'Are video games art' is not an important question about videogames, it's an extension of a question that is vital to art, and therefore to man: What is art? It's not a pissing contest, despite the image above. Whether or not games can or cannot be art, the question has value, especially for those that make games. The

@Reavyn29: If you're really trying to save money, make sure they're not available over the air, or on services like Hulu, http:www.ch131.com or http:www.casttv.com/shows

@Reavyn29: If you have broadband internet and cable, cancel your cable and start up a Netflix subscription for $10/month. You can stream Netflix to your TV using an XBox 360 (easiest), PS3 or Wii (no HD though). Many Blu-ray players and new HDTVs also have the ability to stream Netflix.
