@walls99: My ex-wife offered to buy it because she wants to buy Wii Fit. I gave her the TV they'll be playing it on, though.

I don't have a PS3 and actually just sold my Wii (to my kids' mother, for cheap, so they will be able to game at her place as well as mine). Which leaves me, for the moment, with a 360. Which I love. But Sony had an impressive batch of games this year. Bravo.

@kelbear: Maybe Crecente just needs to take another approach to his articles.

@Kitradu: Just tell 'em it's Original (emmer-effin') Gangster Lilac. Guaranteed to shut 'em down.

In Germany there are bonfires on Sankt Niklaus Tag, and as in The Netherlands, he has a punitive counterpart, called Schwarz Peter. Christmas presents are under a tree, but sequestered in a locked room and sometimes not wrapped, as they are hidden already. The name Santa Clause is a bastardized form of the German

Even when marketing to girls, they still used gigantic man-hands to make the PSP look small by comparison. I guess it's never not time for gigantic man-hands.

@Kitradu: You're right. Purple is not a death-sentence of embarrassment. The Gamecube was purple. This, however, is lilac. Or perhaps, depending on how you parse the ad, a specific shade known as 'OMG Lilac'.

@Bialia: Many happy returns...

@normandygahn: Well holy s/he/it, sounds like Corkey needs to be fitted for a Life Goes On Bra.

@Bialia: Did Germans make this game? Because there are two things Germans want to do to girls:

@Maddogdw: Am I the only one who /just kidding.

@qwerty613: Brilliant. Maybe they could find information that would help the other player progress, like the location of equipment, or a computer that will unlock a section of the ship.

Owen, this article was terrific. Your articles are always enlivened when you're able to interview someone, but human-interest reporting reflects your strengths well. I was reminded of some of your truly touching night notes, which are among my favorite things you've written. But as wonderful as they are, they reflect

@kearneybobs: My hard drive is in the NSFW format.

@kearneybobs: Enjoy. Wind Waker is one of my all-time favorites. I'm so glad Nintendo opted for backwards compatibility. I'm thinking of doing a Luigi's Mansion run-through, though that's less of a time commitment.

@Capp: Clubhouse Games has all sort of card and other traditional cames, as well as some neat games that make use of the stylus... plus it has built in Pictochat.

I wonder what Tim Rogers thinks of Viewtiful Joe, I don't think he's mentioned it on Kotaku, though I could be wrong. If you've read 'Let's Talk About Jumping', I would say that VJ exhibits good level design in the Western as well as Japanese senses of the word, compared to some Japanese games.
