@TheFlyingGerbil: Go into the settings in your profile. Even if it's set to view hidden comments, change it, save it, change it back and save it. Worked for me, but ymmv. And it will be awhile before everyone realizes the settings exist (you can also choose to see older threads first) . #talkamongstyourselves

@XINVADER: Alexey Pajitnov, for one. 50-100 years is a long time, and the one game that I can almost guarantee will be around in something approaching its original form is Tetris. It is on a par with Monopoly, Yahtzee and UNO in terms of classic games. Very few video games remain popular in their original form, or

@cyberrat101: It's not that big of a deal to me, I'll accept it as a challenge, and ultimately I'll be OK if I never again scale those heights. It'll take awhile to lose the reflex to promote a comment, though. #talkamongstyourselves

@ShamanNY: That would be swell, but good luck. The Beatles/Apple/etc. will never allow anyone to profit from The Grey Album, themselves included. Unfortunate. #talkamongstyourselves

Oh noes... Am I unapproved now? The horror... I was ok with being starless (not ideal, but I understand it's a new day and hope to re-earn my star), but now making slight sad face. I still love you guys! #comments

Oh. My. Word. Can't wait to see how this plays out. One question. Will we be notified if we receive messages, or just replies to our comments? #comments

@Camo Zombie is likely to be eaten by a grue: It's not a surprise at all that he bought it, or owns a PS3... it's the public declaration that is remarkable... It would be like White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs casually mentioning that he voted for the Republican gubernatorial candidate in his home state. The

@Kobun: I truly wish (and my pocketbook concurs) that GameFly were viable for anything but a casual (in terms of attention given to games, not the difficulty or nature of the games) gamer. But they're not. Netflix adding games would destroy GF within a month.

@Kris: I wasn't saying they were ancient, really just making the same point as McWhertor's article, that there's still some great, fresh games to be had, including all but Rhythm Heaven from my list, which is a little older. The reason it is a little frustrating is that if you've been saving up for Brutal Legend and

@deanbmmv: 'Full blown game'... hehheh... from HJ to BJ, moving on up! Of course, it's not a 'job if you enjoy what you do.

On the one hand it's disappointing not to see the new releases on the list, but on the other hand, Kingdom Hearts, Mario & Luigi and either Professor Layton or Rhythm Heaven would be a sweet combo.

@Ajh: Ultimately I'd probably choose the 360, as I've never liked Playstation controllers (the ergonomics, not necessarily the functioning, and of course this is a personal preference.) I also use Netflix constantly, way more than watching DVD's or cable. I would certainly have some reservations, as the PS3 has many

@Kobun: What browser are you using? Once I click 'view unapproved comments', that status is persistent unless I delete cookies. At home I use the latest version of Firefox, at work I use IE6, and I rarely have to click 'view unapproved comments'. I haven't really messed around too much with the browser settings

@Agent.AealapytsaNotxap(NotASpy): I check them, but infrequently. I like the idea, but not a lot of folks use them. Bunedoggle support for messages would really really help.

@deanbmmv: I have had that problem too.

@WhiteMage: Go ahead and take the last word, because you've pretty much just rephrased and reemphasized what you've said already without actually responding much to what I've written. Was F. Scott Fitzgerald a sellout? Thomas Pynchon? Hell, Karl Marx had a publisher! How convenient for the status quo if everyone who

@Michael Dukakis: Maybe you can't win that way, but you can finish first!

@WhiteMage: The issue isn't whether or how much you're being paid. It's what motivates the art. Are you saying that Francis Ford Coppola and the Beatles, for instance, were sellouts or shills because they had deals with major corporations and have made millions of dollars? Of course someone who is expressing
