@sixfootgnome: I've had that thought as well. Don't reply to the most incendiary comment, but to the best representative of a viewpoint that you disagree with. If there's not a good comment yet, wait. Just because it's a view that you disagree with doesn't mean there aren't intelligent people who have that view. Yes,

@Fatty Shcock: Those two options are hardly mutually exclusive.

@ianbenoir: I'm sure publishers would appreciate that, but I would imagine Sony requires Blu-Ray to keep developers from being tempted to keep their games small? But I doubt it works, as most games are multi-plat.

@MellowJade: Mario Kart, New Super Mario Bros. if he doesn't have it... Phantom Hourglass, Animal Crossing, Mario & Luigi Partners in Time and Clubhouse Games, because it's a great single & multi-player time killer, the in-game enhanced pictochat is awesome, and kids need to know the classic card

@Michael Dukakis - Mets fan: Does Pikmin count? I don't know if it deserves 'greatest' but it's my favorite, as it manages, through charm and character/enemy design to make you forget you're playing an RTS, which can sometimes be a somewhat clinical genre, even when well done.

@Perfectnumpty: Nope... I'm a goody two-shoes. Even when I decide to go for bad karma, I just end up commiting a couple of half-hearted heinous acts here and there, nothing that would actually make npc's run in fear. If I make another run through, I hope to mend my ways.

@Corduroy Turtle: I saw the picture and thought, "Good morning, Brian!"

The bukkake is a lie!

@RebelGood: My lord, Rebel... where is your left hand? That would've made for an interesting bullet point. Anyway... happy birthday, happy anniversary and you might want to ask your son what sort of commemoration it would take, exactly, to warrant a shiny gold star for one's progenitor?

@Kobun: I'm missing that last little bit of star too because people don't give feedback unless it's negative. I'm 93% positive... It was apparently trash talk that ruined my perfect rating. I've only verbally abused one person in any fashion, and it was by questioning the values of a hate speech-spewing 11 year old

@MrBionic: For this game, surely you'll make an exception and pre-order. I know I will.

@Crimsondramon: My weekend's been swell. I'm reading Lost Girls by the great Alan Moore, and playing Sam & Max on the XBox. I'm kinda broke, so it's the simple pleasures. And of course, checking Kotaku periodically. Somehow, with the new system (I'm using the Monkeywrench script, so no complaints [while I'm at home

@masterdingo: Je ne sais pas means 'I don't know' The phrase you're describing is je ne sais quoi.

@Archaotic: I could almost hear your comment in my mind before I read it. Hell, yes! Let's see the developer that solved the problem of FPS on consoles, figure out what next-gen means for RPGs.

@Bkore: I'm guessing Bungie isn't looking to tie their new game to either console, having been tied down for so long. And it would be great for Bungie to divorce themselves from the platform fanboy nonsense that resulted from Halo:CE being the game that made the XBox. Let's hope we have a great game that can be played

@Kobun: I saw you were playing Splosion Man yesterday. I tried the demo and loved it. I was jealous of you, as I'm living in Broke City. By the time I have disposable income, there's going to be a pile-up of XBLA games to buy, starting with Monkey Island and Splosion Man. This Summer of Arcade thing isn't helping

@noliferuin (PSN+XBL): I loved Lost Odyssey. Though there were some annoyances, I enjoyed Blue Dragon. I can't get a handle on the next-gen Star Ocean, the reviews/word-of-mouth are extremely mixed. I quite enjoyed Eternal Sonata (quasi-turn-based) and my next purchase will probably be Tales of Vesperia. I do enjoy
