Bet he has a back-the-blue Punisher sticker on his civilian lifted truck. Total badass.

Also, he emptied his clip and the sergeant also fired hers into the car....miracle they didn’t kill the guy handcuffed in the back.

he hates credit writ large: thinks if you can buy a house cash, instead of taking out a mortgage, you should do it... which is just about the dumbest fucking financial advice one could possibly dispense.

Dave Ramsey is a boomer tool.  He friggen hates credit cards--even for those that are able to control their spending and take advantage of the protections and potential rewards/benefits they provide.  Plus, he thinks 15 year mortgages are actually a realistic option; when it absolutely isn’t given today’s wages and

And then try to come up with ways to force them to pay for the privilege of paying attention to him.

not watching it ain’t gonna do shit but maybe make you feel like you’re doing a personal protest. The money making machine that is F1 pretty much guarantees it won’t be a flop. Watch it, try to enjoy it. It’s more F1 here in the states and that’s a good thing to support, regardless of the fucking stupidity of asking

Yeah he did this to himself, and it was entirely unnecessary. It’s a bit Trumpian, honestly. All he wants is for people to adore him! Because his father (or mother) didn’t! That’s all this boils down to.

Yeah, I’m in the “fuck ‘em” crowd. He is getting exactly what he deserves.

Has he tried not being a cunt?

He’s a billionaire who bought an entire social network just so he could yell to a captive audience and force them to pay attention to him.

Cars in general.  I heard his fathers Ferrari went shooting out the backside of his garage when he was in high school!

I’m just glad that Elon Musk is laser focused on Tesla, and not distracted by other ridiculous, un-related side-projects so that he can help put the company back on track.

Dude really has bad luck in LA traffic. Better than the bus, I suppose.

Because it being unblocked does not prohibit the actual event from taking place. It’s also a public thoroughfare, so you can’t just take that away from the people. I totally get it if one of the hotels owned it and they wanted to limit access, or sell it, but this is a public bridge. This is basically government doing

Mostly, I think this is BS messing with public infastructure to benefit the most wealthy people in the world. But editors note also has me wondering what the capacity of these bridges is & whether they would be at any risk of collapse if normal folks crowded on them to glimpse the race.

One more reason to avoid Vegas all together.

Just pay your service workers a living wage. Hell, my daughter - age 19 - works as a hostess at a nice restaurant in Vancouver. She makes $20/hr and gets a small cut of the tip-out. Yes, Vancouver is exceedingly expensive to live in. But she and her roommate make it work. Decent wages make a difference.

This. Manufacturers, retailers and middlemen are often their own worst enemies in every way.

^^^This guy gets it. He only left out insurance costs for EVs. Manufacturers kill off cheap cars, only ship EVs with 100s of miles of range, high base prices and bonkers horsepower and dealers are allowed to add their own arbitrary markups without any guardrails whatsoever. Now that we’ve reached the bullshit

Hey I need to be able to get into a gun fight at any moment - to feel safe.

Some are paranoid idiots, others are just laughably insecure about wanting to look tough, and then you have the really concerning bunch that wake up every day and hope they get to live out their fantasy of being the “good guy hero” and getting lucky enough to shoot someone by being in the right place at the right
