First whether or not he won the election the last go around is at best questionable, allegations of voter fraud were extremely wide spread both in the 14 and 15 elections. The outraged tack works best for a small subset of the population, usually for men and women with deeper voices. I actually think black men and women may have an advantage here, those low tones are great for speaking with authority and power.

Then persist and keep talking in a low, respectful but firm tone. Try to get what you want through leading questions. Eventually two things will happen, A) they’ll wear themselves out by shouting B) they’ll have to answer your questions.
