I noticed the lack of angry mob sequences, and I'm going to blame that on a combination of mixed signals with the writing team and hasty editing. I've partaken in creative endevors where a sequence builds up, but then gets lost because of time frames and having too many hands on deck. I think the angry mob sequence

I'm going to post a theory as to what happened.

Beth rules. She's trying to hold the family together while her obsessive, pity party of a husband refuses to let go, and alienate him self in his crusade. Beth isn't a push over and his behavior is not just selfish, it's unhealthy and destructive.

This season is brilliant beyond words. It got back to the core of season one, but with greatly added dynamics between miller and Hardy. It feels so much more real. You can see how this is just eating Hardy alive, and yet he's trying to be more balanced with work/life. Miller being more open and nurturing towards him,

I just read your comments about not extrapolating enough on the John Wayne stuff from the original comics. I agree there needs to be more of that, but I have a feeling we'll get that once we get to Angelville. The way that this show builds itself up, I suspect that's going to be near the end of the season as that was

Yeah, it's total GoT moralistically ambiguous style characters. I would at Eugene is the most innocent (kicking the shit out of Hitler doesn't count. We should all have that chance). I realize the show is much more "tame" than the comics. But it makes up for that in the level of character development and real

This is some intense character sketches of the two of them. WOW. So much soul and depth. Jesse is a DICK!!! ( yet, I love the character that much more) And…once again, I don't care how far off the canon of the original source material this is, this was brilliant. I saw some poor reviews of this episode on other sites.

MAAAAN. You just described the most perfect shows ever. Like paradise on the small screen. I could see the Art and Helena one done in a traditional TV show format. The Scott and Cosima would be a bit like those casual conversation talk shows. It could be called "High Games with Scott and Cosima"

This is some fine, fine TV. Heavy and serious as hell. I can already tell this is way better than Season 2. This show is totally not fun. But there's nothing cooler than seeing David Tennant scowl and mad dogging folks, and bickering with Olivia Colman like a married couple.

Yes/no. It's all integrated, but so far I feel this has a standalone quality to it. You'd just appreciate the character development and tie ins better.

Yeah, Scott was on fire this episode. I demand a spin off show

Yeah. That would have been so awesome. DEATH TO BIG COSMETICS!

Your comparison to a drug pusher is very appropriate, as the typical obsessive participant in "geek culture" consumes entertainment in various media a bit like a drug addiction. I know this is a gross over generalization, and I absolutely know not everyone participates in entertainment at this voracious less. I'm not

So good to get a real Orphan Black episode. This one made sense, and helped tie in the previous episodes in much better. I love the "Lost meets the Prisoner vibe" with the island, even though it was getting boring after a while. But having PT not be this magical man, but rather just a humbug of a Wizard puts it back

It's so weird how GoT has this camp "Show" v "Books" which was started more by camp "Show". Preacher fans are protective of the original source material, and make it clear that we need to respect the comics at all times. (which I respect and adore) The GoT fans of the show belittle the fans of the books, and make the

They take a lot of creative liberties in the show, which I personally love (It gives me two versions of Preacher this way). They should just go for it and make a devil character who's funny and weird.

Colleen should be the Iron Fist. Not this ass wipe.

Holy crap, the Hitler character sure has the hornets nest buzzing with comments. My question is: Is Eugine actually dead, or is he physically there around dead souls? I'm wondering if that has anything to do with the technical difficulties

I had a hard time keeping up with the first half of this episode. A lot of it just sounded like abstract dialog that didn't mean much for the development of the story, but just used as an effect. But it was when Delphine showed up in Cosima's hut it all came together. The dinner scene was the best moment of the season

IKR? Jesse and Tulip would be considered villains by his standards and we'd have an epic battle. Even Elektra would be like "Whoah. You two need to chill". Tulip would try and bite her ear off. Jesse would command DD to dance. It would be be a riot.
