See, you have to understand that Kotaku has different writers. There is no Kotaku hive mind. So one writer can hate a game (or anime) to death and another can love it to death and there is no hypocrisy. There are very few things that you can say that ‘Kotaku’ has a united front on, other than being generally opposed…
Is that 2022 pricing?
Says three, names two, and one wasn’t the fault of the teenager but the uncle who couldn’t build a transmission.
For every person like you that got 4 years out of a car, I can name 3 in my high school alone that got less than a week out of their first cars.
Any car driven by a teenager has an average maximum life span measured in months.
Why is Reliable a key metric here?
What the heck? Did someone finally change out the “water” in the cooler at Jalopnik HQ?
‘Cool’ is subjective...but is a Civic really that much cooler than a Forte these days? Most Gen Z I know wouldn’t even be able to tell the difference...
We have an expression for that in France. It is like giving jam to pig. If they never drove a manual, they don’t know what they are missing. Start with an average, very rugged manual (Toyota corolla or else), low power to limit issues, then they can move to an SI, if they like driving manual, they can then appreciate…
Veloster is the answer, fun to drive, 6 speed is close to Honda smooth. Do you need an N? no, the turbo’s are plenty fast.
Teaching someone to drive a stick on a Civic Si? That’s a bold move, for sure. I’d probably go with something a bit more forgiving.
I’m stil lgonna ride out the year I have left in hopes the conversion plan (for discounted Game pass) still works one last time at the end of those 12 months.
The price of video games, adjusted for inflation, has never been cheaper.
Every now and then I think “Oh I should buy a couple 3-month extensions while they’re on sale for under $45,” followed immediately by “Eh but I’ve still got like a year and a half prepaid, why bother?” MS just handed me a reason to deny that second voice in the near future.
sure... I guess what im saying is just that the P1800 shouldnt be rolled in to the same category as other cars which have only rolled a measly one-million miles. (yes theres a little sarcasm in there).
I checked my notes; three million is in fact “over one million.”
I’d let that baby shit in my driveway.
My first vehicle was dubbed “baby shit yellow” by my sister.
Indeed. Can’t think of too many other reasons why one would venture there intentionally.
