Well-written? The writing in FO3 was atrocious. The locales were all based on superficial and illogical gimmicks and there was no real sense of cohesion between them. It was basically a theme park. Fallout 4 is a fun game, it’s just.... not really a Fallout game in the same vein as 3 and New Vegas were. It’s like the diet cola version.

I worked on several of these games when I worked @ THQ classic. Can confirm the only thing holding it together is bubble gum and prayers. The games source code\engine has not changed since the PS2 era. I wish I were joking.

I mean, they need to make a new engine. They’ve been using the one they made for Here Comes The Pain since 2003. It’s a mess of legacy code now, hence the games being increasingly glitchy and broken.
