If you order it in the black body paint option, then the answer is yes.

I would say, except for Sweden, you can see the same behavior across entire United States. Some are better, some worse, but same shitty drivers all around.

It doesn’t, the Korean twins have better range, interiors, looks, and I’d bet dollars to pesos they drive better too.

A new car in the US that’s only $10K would be welcome by many no matter what powers it.  Unfortunately, that price point will limit you to new motorcycles.

Yes, I mean look at them - they’re exactly the same.

Has the robot that failed to paint the front fenders been reprogrammed?

why wouldn’t it? apartments where i live are installing EV chargers. there is no rent control here.

It’s really a Captcha and you have just proven you are not a robot. Now, you see a tortoise on its back in the desert…

Glad to see there is still no editing or proofreading being done before publishing articles at Jalopnik.

People with shitty eye sight that don’t necessarily do this sort of thing all day, every day.

Literally anyone with a trade job who needs accurate measurement, which is to say, a fucking lot of people.

The direct cost to my wife and I of this increase is zero, because we’ve made choices. We live walking distance to work for her. I cycle to work most days. We bought an EV that I use on the days I don’t cycle to work. (Sometimes I don’t feel like doing a 33-mile round trip commute in the rain.)

And since their competition has caught up in the light weight game (especially since Mazda added weight by going upmarket) there’s really no upside to the cramped dimensions. Doesn’t stop my from buying their cars though. Both my wife and I drive current gen Mazda 6's. I just can never sit in the back.

Good clarification, more accurate would be to say that the only sedan genre with healthy competition from several manufacturers is luxury sport models.

yup... and likely why he put a fresh engine in it last month for $5k as opposed to just getting another car. this market is fucked.

This.  Why this guy thinks he needs a go fund me is beyond me.  I also don’t buy that he put a new engine in a, what, 6 or 7 year old Subaru?  The Tesla was almost certainly well-insured, being a rental, so I have no clue why this guy needs cash from strangers to fix something that should be covered by insurance.

Nissan sells a lot here, and they’re still with Renault

In fairness, part of that is due to dealerships being really good at making people believe they got a good deal with all their BS gimmicks and add-ons and what not, and their focus on monthly payments.

The way I read it, the 120k/year is a global number, not just US. In Europe, the Transporter (the original split window microbus was the T1; the facelifted version of that the T2; the Vanagon was the T3; the T4 was when they went front engine/FWD - that came out in the 90s and was sold as the Eurovan in the US; they

Yeah, safety regs now frown upon the driver’s legs being part of the crumple zone.
