I’m not sure that’s warranted in this case, as you can see, the front hasn’t fallen off.

I can’t think of an EV on the market today that would work as a cop car otherwise.

There are no, repeat NO cars that are “too small for police work”, only cops who are too spoiled to make do with what the taxpayers give them.

The article said that it was in for engine-off repairs and was not airworthy in time.

Did the plane get destroyed like this?

Relative to the human losses and what else is being destroyed, this is minor, but as somewhat of an aviation buff, it does sadden me. I did have the pleasure of seeing it in flight 1 time. It was close to 20 years ago, but I just happened to be outside as it was on its decent into Rickenbacker Airport on the outskirts

“Daddy, where do baby airplanes come from?”

Toyota is being kicked and dragged into EVs. It doesn’t want to do it, but it will be left behind if it doesn’t.

We’re turning into one seems like

Where I live in the US is most certainly a target.”

Sweden sending 5000 anti-tank missiles to Ukraine seems like a good sign.

I really hope this whole Ukraine thing completely blows up in Putin’s face. It’s definitely looking that way as Russia’s economy is in absolute shambles after less than a week.

I don’t entirely disagree, but real estate is far more local than auto sales. Some places will stay very high pretty much forever. Some places will crash hard. Some places have always been dirt cheap, some places have always been very expensive. The overall trend has always been up as a general rule, if not

Realtors in 2004: High prices are here to stay.

Is that how that works?

Toyota have been dropping the ball so consistently on electric vehicles that I wonder if they’re throwing a game that was more or less entirely theirs to win.

No European delivery van is achieving 40 MPG in stop-go driving.

Right? A hybrid would be perfect for the slow, stop-and-go use case of mail delivery and would add a much smaller cost on the vehicle itself and no additional infrastructure cost. Also it seems deceptive to initially announce both gas and electric versions as if to imply the mix would be anything close to 50/50, while

USPS has estimated mileage based on their use cycle, not the typical EPA cycle. The Metris vans they are currently running get only 6.3mpg, much lower than 19/23 rating from the EPA.

The Postal Service daily requirements are about the farthest thing from a “sympathetic” driving route.
