It looks like an expensive Viper body kit, which I guess it kind of is. Far to expensive for that.

Sell for parts, car is ruined. There’s probably no workaround whatsoever.

Neutral: Favorite Car From Detroit?

Neutral..

5th Gear - FCA has stopped begging GM for a date because they’ve heard there’s a German with a bad reputation and a need for “special comfort.”

It’s missing a little bit of panache, but that is a wonderous looking luxo-barge. If this is anywhere near the price of first gen, this would be a steal.

ALL OF THEM. PLEASE STOP THIS.

It’s a protective cover for the smart cruise control radar unit.

Honda Fits are one of the most popular selling small cars and have always looked like a micro-minvan spaceship. It’s the most space efficient layout that’s still aerodynamic.

Mmm, maybe. I’ve gotten along fine with just the third row stow for the last six years. Only taken the middle row out twice. Day to day the battery boost is far more useful to me.

I think everybody has pretty clearly stated ‘with incentives’ when they mention the pricing. But some people only hear that final number, so that’s the one to announce. Tesla and Nissan do the same for their EVs when it comes to the marketing noise.

Better build quality than the not-yet-delivered Bolt? :) I had an ‘11 Volt and I know that i3 REX owners would kill for the reliability of that car. Of course, I was forced to suffer without eucalyptus trim.

1 Billion = 1,000 million, you are off by a few zeros there

I thought the Volt could only go 40 miles or so on electric power alone before calling the gas engine into the mix.

And how long will consumers really accept a torsion bar rear suspension on a nearly $40,000 vehicle?

Most people who crap all over the Volt haven’t even been in one, much less driven one. It’s totally undeserving of the hate thrown its way.

But now where will I stow whenever I go?! Think of the chirrun!!

in a previous article it is mentioned the batteries are packed in where the ‘stow-n-go’ space is.

I love the Volt but it’s a hybrid. Regardless of what GM wants you to believe.

At double the price, yes, a Tesla S is a better car. Amazing how that works.
