The report also apparently implies that after the first owner is done with the vehicle, it’s no longer saving oil and decreasing CO2 emissions. I guess in 100% of cases the next owner converts it to a gas car?
Yeah, that’s some pretty glossed-over parts. The EV continues to be clean for the second and third owners. We don’t just toss them in a landfill.
The updated Volvo XC40 Recharge suffers the same 78kWh/AWD vs 82kWh/RWD battery disparity. Does Volvo have an explanation for this?
It’s very unlikely. That represents an engineering change, and they made that announcement fairly recently, but engineering changes can’t happen in a couple of months. By the time they announced the NACs adoption, production prototypes were probably already rolling off the line.
The thickness of an average human hair is about 70 microns. That was a very dumb thing for Elon to put in writing.

Won’t someone please think of the shareholders!?!
Ted Cruz is a gullible cuck. Change my mind.
Well, not that shocked.

Five G’s for a car that’s running? That’s practically a steal these days.
Yes. Waymo has ditched the minivans in favor of the Jaguar I-Pace (for some reason. Maybe they get a nice discount because no one else is buying them?) Cruise is using Chevy Bolts.
Autonomous vehicles never take their eyes off the road to text their friend that they’ll be there in a few minutes.
Multipass.
Yep. This and the Pontiac G8 were the product of a deal with the Australian government. They never intended to sell more than they told the Australian government they would build.
