I’ve got to disagree, I like them for some reason. Not sure why. Maybe because I was a formative high school student when they dropped.

YES. I was going to throw the Durango during those years in here as well. My parents had a 2003 Durango in Maroon, and my dad still says if he won the lotto, he’d pay to have someone restore one to showroom just because he liked how much it looked.

*shudder*

Second Generation Dodge Dakota (Awesome)

Currently it is the Camaro in the #1 spot. But BMW and the nostrils from a Balrog is a very close second.

That sounds far, far, far too complicated to manage ownership of a sub-$2k pickup truck.

User name checks out.

Or an even wilder thought - tax the hell out of the rich who made their fortunes on the backs of literally everyone below them.

Almost no one in the USA wants a “city” car. The closest we get are communities which allow “neighborhood” vehicles like golf carts which are limited to 25mph or so.

Or you could just, like, rent a car when you need it?  Create a “rental escrow” bank account and throw $50 a month into it?

Ford sells over a million trucks per year. It is blatantly obvious that they’re building trucks people want to buy. What you want will never happen for the price you demand with today’s safety regulations. Ever.

The GX is a large vehicle. My GX doesn’t fit in my 1 car garage from the 80s.

When one must master of the roads in a land yacht, there is but one choice... The Buick Roadmaster.

Why do people act so surprised that america has high demand for cars?  It’s literally the only consistent way to get around our country.

An EPA estimated 30 mpg highway rating is atrocious for this! You have half-ton diesel trucks doing that with 250+ horsepower.
