No, I think a Guy Fieri joke is perfect in times like this. I’d bet Bourdain would want that.

That’s horrible. I understand where you’re coming from, but mental illness doesn’t work that way. You can’t blame people like that. Well, I guess you can, but it isn’t fair. I’ve known a lot of people who have killed themselves and I and others have been hurt by it every time. But never did I have such scorn for them.

People with children are not allowed to have crippling depression. Got it. Thanks for that. I’ll keep it in mind.

You didn’t attend her funeral? So as you say this was a women who you knew since you were toddlers. I assume that means you were pretty good friends. Instead of being there for those two children when they probably need people the most you got on your high horse and road away.

I wouldn’t be shocked if there turned out to be a connection between Trump and an increase in suicides (he has certainly exacerbated my own mental illnesses), but your comment is still rather glib and insensitive seeing as we don’t know the reasons that caused Anthony Bourdain to sadly take his own life.

If you’re thinking about suicide, are worried about a friend or loved one, or would like emotional support, the Lifeline network is available 24/7 across the United States.

Man, it’s like a huge part of my youth just fucking blinked out.

This is terrible news to wake up to. Anthony Bourdain’s shows changed my life in more ways than one. My partner and I were both huge fans, and I can’t imagine how different our lives would have been if not for Bourdain. His wit and crotchety brand of humanism were delightful, and will be missed.

He showed that adventure is still possible in so many ways.

This is such distressing, awful news. My whole family loved Anthony Bourdain. He truly changed the way we thought about food. This is just terribly sad.

While looks are subjective, its a good looking car.

Doesn’t want: Nothing too unreliable,

Allow me to suggest one option no one has offered:

2014 - 2017 Buick Regal GS. You can find a newer one that’s lightly used fresh off a lease well within budget and still have a ton of factor warranty left. You’d be getting a car with decent power and handling as well as a better interior than a lot of other cars in that price range for the age etc.

This literally has everything you listed, including the V8, without the 5 speed, because no one makes a full size truck with a manual. Because no one wants them. Tons of people want Raptors, etc and will pay big bucks to get them. Engineering and producing a 5 speed manual transmission for a truck that maybe 10 people

If the driver gets into a collision it’d be a Tyrannosaurus wreck.

according to Acura, the RDX gets 22 mpg in the city, 28 mpg on the highway and 24 mpg combined. In the mountains for the short time we were in it, our car got about 14 mpg.

Yep, and meanwhile BMW is still putting real exhausts(that sound good) and regular D pillars on their cars. Can’t compete on price though.

Typical armchair response. It’s great car for what it’s designed for. You obviously have your biases and would never even consider driving one.
