The Moon is a Harsh Mistress turned me into a high school/college libertarian in a way Ayn Rand never could have. Heinlein’s libertarianism was so much more about personal adventure and freedom, and how social groups can still function even without serious regulation. Rand’s stuff is just invective.

This was my first Heinlein, so it seemed so incredibly different at the time. Now - after reading some of his other novels...not so much. It doesn’t hurt that I was more or less a libertarian when I read it

Yoga has made me a better cyclist that’s for sure. Wii Fit got me into it, of all things. I now have a little routine that I do before I hit the weights. It really improved my balance and flexibility. I recover quicker from workouts/long rides.
