One suggestion for the drivetrain- Just give it a modern 1x10 (or 11) MTB drivetrain. There’s no real reason to run a double or a triple ring up front, you can save some weight and it’s totally possible to get an oldschool crank and just run a single narrow-wide chainring. Sure, the gigantic 11-50 (or 11-42) cassette

Holy hell that is an amazing score.

2022 will be the year that... not much will change. Big ass trucks will still dominate the market and the roads. SUVs and Crossovers will continue to sell big.

I will however admit that The recent french thing was absolutely hilarious and was probably the funniest thing they’ve done in a long time. And Clarkson was actually FUN to watch.

I had a subaru impreza outback sport with the badge on the back hatch ever so slightly off horizontal. So little that there was only a slight pressure in the back of my head saying”something seems off...” just enough to be utterly, gaslightingly maddening once I really saw it.

Jeremy’s old british racist bit gets a bit old. He’s like that uncle you once thought was super cool and bawdy and told the best racy jokes, only to realize now that he’s a racist, sexist jackass and really hasn’t aged well.

ARGLE BARGLE FREEDOMS! ARGLE BARGLE ‘MERICA!!!

Wait, isn’t this the plot of “Fargo?”

Bullitt is Awful.

“damn train or shitty bus” is the problem. Almost everywhere else in the industrialized world, the bus is less awful, the train is less shitty. We need that. But since we’ve pretty much outsourced our transit infrastructure to the fine folks who build cars, well, we gots cars.

As sad as it is to see VW paring down to just crossovers and GTIs, I get it. Last time I saw a regular golf on the road? Can’t remember.

I mean, it’s been possible to repair seriously damaged carbon bike frames for a decade or more, and there’s very little room for error on something that small and light.

Except, somehow, Hamilton has managed to be THE top F1 driver, be a strong and aggressive driver and not appear to be an asshole. Being an asshole is not a requirement for success. Not in F1, not anywhere. most places, it’s a great way to crater your career.

If I were Tesla, I would 100% encourage this to show why electric is better. I mean, this is 100% an amazing build and so very cool but in most ways it’s going to be several steps backwards in performance, comfort, drivability... Love it. Shine on you crazy diamond.

Basically, he appears to be an aggressive asshole. Do I know him personally? no. So I can only go with what I’ve seen of him on drive to survive and in interviews and on the track. And what I see is an asshole.

See, you’re a guy. And so you haven’t had to deal with this shit at all. Because the problem is that violence against women has long been under-reported and when it is reported, it’s under-prosecuted.

My counsellor told me I was done and didn’t need to schedule another appointment. That was a pretty amazing feeling. The stresses of Covid and quarantine and all (gestures broadly at the world) that really started getting to me and I was in a place where I couldn’t really feel happy. So into counselling, discovered

My guess is it would work like this: cars are sold fully optioned. you then get to subscribe to whatever features you want (much like how they add XM radio to cars now) And probably receive a lifetime of marketing messages about how summer is coming, have you thought about unlocking your AC? once everything is on a

You are correct, lenders are not holding a gun to their head saying they have to take these rates. BUT, we live in a country where we have outsourced our transit to the private sector in most places, so if you want a job, you need a car. If you want to get your kids to school, you need a car. If you want to basically
