That range is awesome. Now drop the price in half and I still can’t afford it, but you know, yay for them that can.

“The Love Witch” is just insane and so much fun to watch. They had so much fun with sets and clothing and a wonderfully bonkers story.

To be fair, a horse and buggy, where the horse is getting on in years and the buggy is in desperate need of paint, was a better option that 70s american cars.

I suppose it depends on where your cutoff for old is and if we are talking your only car or a car that’s backed up by another totally reliable car.

I can drive from Wisconsin to Ohio at 70-75 mph (roughly 450 miles) on a single tank of gas at 60-70 mph. OR I can do the same drive at 75-85 miles an hour and have to stop to fill up, effectively eating whatever time I gained by driving faster.

100% fair. bicycle, bus and train burnouts suck.
BUT: if you didn’t have to have a vehicle that literally does everything (long distance, shit weather, hauling mulch, commuting to work) you could just have one awesome machine that could concentrate on awesome burnouts.

So what you are saying is because it cannot be implemented everywhere, it shouldn’t be done? Of course it can’t work in Rural America. It’ll never work for my dairy farming ex-inlaws. But it doesn’t have to work there, mainly because it makes no sense. But we can still make it work where most of the country actually

I was just thinking about this yesterday as I was cramming 8 foot boards into my outback because I didn’t want them to get rained on but I was worried that even with the seats folded down if they were gonna tear up my upholstery...

I do know where this one came from though... If you grew up in the 70s, you remember your parents trying to get rid of that car before it blew up because it was shitty malaise era garbage. Old habits die hard.

I live in a climate with extreme cold, snow and lately in summer, extreme heat. That doesn’t mean that it’s 24/7/365 shitty. More than half the year is great. And when you live in a place with lots of snow and cold weather, you tend to own clothes for that weather.

“Cars are the best way to ___________.”

Was Verstappen deserving of the penalty? I think Yes.

The worst thing about driving in the U.S. is that there’s really no other options. You drive or... what? When the weather is shitty, you drive, even though the roads are icy and it’s dangerous. When you are tired, you can drive or you can... what? You need to work? Yeah, but you also need to spend an hour stuck in

So awesome that he’s also the President of the Colorado Fraternal Order of Police, where his guidance and leadership will affect the attitudes and ethics of so many officers. Ugh.

as a (proud never seems like the right word) Gen-X, I can say that growing up during the cold war SUCKED. We were the generation that got told “despite what your parents were taught, there’s no bomb shelter that’ll do anything but preserve your corpse.”

OK, so last year, I bought a used Subaru Outback. I did my research and when one popped up at a nearby dealer at a really good price (thanks Janesville Subaru!) I jumped on it. I decided to do an experiment- I knew what the blue book was on my trade in, I knew what the price the Outback was listed for was an excellent

So you know how when you decide to take a vacation you end up regretting it about wednesday of the week before you leave? Well, it’s wednesday. My office is piling me high with projects to finish before I’m gone for a week, I’m absolutely exhausted and I’m seriously at the point of “FINE I’LL JUST STAY.”

Add to that my

I keep going back to DeMuro trying to daily drive a Ferrari- soooo much more fun to read than the usual “it corners like a dream and I swear my balls grew 3 sizes that day” review of a sportscar.

So we need to change how we fire cops. Right now, if you get fired, you can just go down the highway to another town and get a job there. And in fact, that seems to be what happens with most fired cops.

This is one of those jobs where if you get fired, you probably need to be de-licenced/put on a registry/are not

OK, so “without ditching the comfort and daily usability...”- At this point we all know it can go around a corner really well and that if put on the perfect road it will carve corners and accelerate like God’s own hotwheels. So you can leave all that out- its been well covered. I wanna hear about its actual “daily
