The conspiracy theory I’m going with is that the NFL wanted the Rams in the Super Bowl so people in LA might actually start paying attention to football.

They got 30 tubs of KFC for the event, but when it arrived, it smelled so good that trump decided to have that all sent to the residence.

And as a backup who was good as a starter at one point in time, he will ALWAYS have a chance to be signed by some desperate team for decent money as a backup.

Actually, as a QB, in the NFL he would not even need to be a starter to have a long extremely well paid career.

Apparently the kick was tipped so he didn’t totally blow it, the Eagles made a play.

It is not about missing work or running for re-election, it is about winning the Presidency and losing a seat to the Republicans. If Warren or Sherrod Brown became Pres or VP, a Republican governor would fill their seat.

Any big name Dem who has a chance at a Senate seat or a chance to keep one from going to a Republican has to sacrifice for the greater good by running for or staying in the Senate.

One important thing for Dem voters to consider is how much hate for a candidate can the Republicans (and russian bots) gin up on a candidate. I think Warren has more simply by virtue of being a woman who the right has already been taught to fear and hate for a few years.

I would be fine with a Biden / Romney unity administration if it started tomorrow and ended when the winner of the 2020 election was sworn in.

I feel like the reason Bonds is not getting in and other cheaters do is because he broke the most holy, revered record in the sport as a result of his cheating.

All these speeches are sort of directed at trump, but 99.9% of them would be absolutely the same if Hillary would have won. People just would not have trump’s blatantly deplorable existence up in their faces all the time making those lovely (but fairly standard) speeches seem like screeds against his very being.

I don’t know about everyone else, but I feel like it was very thoughtful for Putin to send a representative to GHWB’s funeral.
