How jealous is Fox News going to be when they find out they have been replaced by Pravda as Trump’s State Media.

They have to be implicated in it. Any smart ones would know this is the time to cut your losses and turn on him. But they cannot because they are involved deeper than anyone yet realizes.

If anyone does not think McConnell is implicated criminally in all of this, then this response from him should convince them otherwise.

The way that Mitch McConnell is responding to this, with support, and defending the move, is a pretty convincing hint that he is probably implicated in this criminally as well.

Comey is not the be all and end all of the investigation. He has many agents working on this, he was simply overseeing it. The agents will still work until they are ordered not to by the next FBI director. The next FBI director is not getting approved by the Senate any time soon.

He’s probably Trump’s handler for the Russians and is currently giving him instructions for how to deal with this.

Trump might just eliminate the use of -gate in naming scandals after all of this is over. Instead of just adding the -gate suffix to some word that is related to the scandal, they will simply be rated on how Trumpian they are.

Its not as if Comey was the one doing the entire investigation. He had a team that was doing it. He got fired but the team is still there and I am sure they now know they need to get their asses in gear.

Trump did not do anything good. When it came to Clinton, Comey reported the new emails to congress, he did not release them, Chaffetz did.

Comey was running an investigation that was going to take down trump. That is why he was fired.

Hopefully he is nominated because I think the position requires senate confirmation. Which means he will have to answer a lot of questions... Many of which will be about his role in the Russia scandal.

I think he is intelligent enough to be good at debating which does not necessarily require one to be right, or to be smarter than their opposition. It just requires that you can frame an argument better and stick to your talking points and ignore logic and common sense if necessary to win.

How long until Putin realizes he is no different from any contractor, employer, bank, or other investor who Trump owes something to but is never going to pay back?

I am pretty sure they all at least read their very favorite passage from the bill, the part about the gigantic tax cuts for the rich.
