The Pebble Time Steel / Time 2 looked way better than these things. I cannot get over the Fitbit logo at the bottom, and the asymmetry of the screen. If you have an iPhone, you can get the Series 1 for $50 more, and it will be more than worth the money. This thing looks like a cheap chinese knockoff of a Pebble.
One of the big appeals of the Pebble was the always on e-ink display and the battery life it entailed. With an LCD, this is more of a Pebble-ish looking Fitbit. Not bad, but misses one of the Pebbles main points.
I agree. It’s rubbed off on other manufacturers as well and they have absolutely no good reason for it.
