@ProudGeek: I never said I loved mosquitoes... If you read my first post where I said that I hate them as much as the next guy, then maybe I'll listen.

Whoa! What the hell is that CD doing there? No way Jobs would allow that if Apple did something like this!
@ZeeZedZee: I can see that it wouldn't necessarily affect humans in a negative way, but it would affect other areas of nature as cited in that article. I know we have figured a lot out about nature, but we sure don't know everything. Just seems to me that we shouldn't be messing with nature to this degree. Just my…
I don't know... I hate mosquitoes as much as the next guy, but scientifically engineering them? Kinda messing with the natural order of things. I wonder if there could be any negative long term issues to doing this?
@Septhinox: Plenty. Remember, all Fox news does is lie and spread hate and kill puppies. Unlike the completely unbiased news organizations like ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, etc.
@TheBobmanNH: True, but I was being sarcastic... plus, I know more people who don't use Facebook than do, although, I'm not in the age range that typically uses it anyway.
The only thing about this that amazed me was the number of Facebook users... I think I'm going to be the last person on earth who doesn't use it...
I can see this being used in a business setting for a video conference call now and then... much cheaper than buying a video conference system. But, for personal use, $5 per day or $9 for a month? That doesn't even make sense...
Woohoo! I was wondering if by the time I got my next iPhone if I would still be grandfathered in... guess I may not have to worry about it now.
Even if I was on Facebook, I still wouldn't give a shit.

Hmmm... Kids in grades 4-12 + iPad = Busted iPad ?
I can't stop clicking the buttons! I'm speechless! I am without speech!
Ok, I LOL'd at the HTML4 logo... nice...
@Joel Johnson: Ok... guess I can remove Burning Man. That was more on there just so I could say I've been, but doesn't sound like I'd miss much. CES, easy to scratch off. Hell, can just follow it on the interwebs anyway. New Zealand is still on the list though for sure. Oh, and I'll add Ayers Rock to the list…
Places to go before I die:
Sounds like I'm in the minority here, but I liked all 3... ok, the 3rd one was the worst of the 3 IMO, but I still liked it. I'd be ok with a 4th and 5th provided they don't suck. I'd still watch 'em though...
@collectiveego: Ditto that...
@bubbernino: I can't tell you how much time I waste at work on this site... but I don't have to tell you that.
@bubbernino: Bitchin'... and Friday night on Giz... could it get any better? LOL
