Came here to say much the same. Ohio’s state law permits U-Turns outside a narrow set of restrictions. In the state Capital (Columbus) U-Turns are illegal unless there is a sign specifically permitting them.

That’s not quite what they ruled, but this is a very valid point.

I don’t know, mandating that people stop on reds at stoplights seems like it’s for safety reasons.

Aaaaah. OK. A few things:

I thought it was a good episode. I mean, it was obvious that none of Reese, Fusco, Root, or Finch would die. And it’s pretty obvious that the Machine is going to (somehow) win this. I am a little sad to see Elias go, but at least he got his revenge (and frankly, I didn’t see his trap coming).
