If those two ever came into contact, it would be like bringing together two sub-critical masses of plutonium, except with douche.

Within the next 24 months? Maybe. Your previous post said “early next year,” which seems a really aggressive timeframe to me.
That package IS the ESPN direct-to-consumer offering. Disney gets around $12/month for every cable and satellite customer in the country. If they offer the main ESPN channel streaming, then they risk the cable operators saying “nope, not paying it, if any of customers complain about losing ESPN, we’ll offer them $10…
OK, I really didn’t get the Klingon elements in this episode. So, T’Rell now has a box which can make the Klingon homeworld uninhabitable, and that’s how she’s going to convince these warring houses to unite? If I’m the head of one of the warring houses, don’t I immediately think “whoever has that box is in charge,…
You don’t even need that. Any DL will do, because all the states have waivers, and even without the waivers, you only need a DL from a state that issues Real ID compliant driver’s licenses. Yours doesn’t have to be.
As a Trusted Traveler, you may update your passport and driver’s license through your TTP account at https://ttp.cbp.dhs.gov/, so long as you are renewing an existing passport and are not incorporating a name change in the updated passport or it is new document not previously associated with your account.
Yeah, it annoys me too, but I kind of get that. Kids change so fast that even a five year old picture can be useless, and a ten year picture definitely would be. Even so, the cost to process and produce the passport is the same.
When you get your new passport, you can update your global entry info with your new passport number online, no need to go in person.
Wrong, and irrelevant.
And in October, those states will get another extension. The Feds have been playing this game for a number of years. The odds that they’ll actually tell residents of a state they can’t get on a plane are close to zero.
This is false. PA driver’s licenses are still completely valid for air travel in the US. The feds have granted PA an extension to October 2018. Technically, the licenses could cease to be valid between then and March 2019, when PA rolls out Real ID compliant licenses (which would make ALL PA licenses valid, whether…
Agreed. Walter carried that team for years. Not giving him a shot at a Super Bowl touchdown was shameful.
The Kinjamprove plugin for Chrome allows you to ignore posters. I highly recommend it.
Manuel transmission? Is that where you hire a guy from Mexico to shift for you?
Wow, a 65" 4K TV for $650. Amazing.

However, apparently, that also means my credit might go lower. But why? I’m intentionally not taking out a bunch of pointless cards I don’t need and paying off my card every month. But my rating will be lower than someone with a pile of cards and thus has a bunch of credit? That’s nonsensical. Shouldn’t the person…
Say I’m a credit card company. You want to open a card. I look at your credit report, and see that you just got your credit checked for a car loan. I see there’s no car loan on your credit report, though. That tells me that either you will be getting a car, and the associated loan, soon, which means your monthly loan…
Again, I’m really surprised to hear they were charging that fee on a card which had an outstanding balance. FYI, you didn’t have to pay that fee. You could have closed the card, and continued to pay off the balance under the same terms as were in place (interest rate, minimum payment) before you closed the card.
For a $30k car, a 240 month loan at 0.5% is $130/month. A 60 month loan is $500. At that interest rate, I’d happily invest an extra $370/month.
Inactivity fees were banned in 2010, although some lenders went to annual fees that would get rebated with a certain amount of usage, as noted.
