Who could have predicted this?

The C2 Corvette. It solidified itself in motorsport history even if GM tried its damnedest to not be directly involved. Sure, Zora shoehorned a V8 into the C1, but the C2 took that torch like a toddler on Redbull and ran through a fireworks warehouse. It also gave us the namesake of the Z06 and Grand Sport, something

The C2 is still my favorite generation of Corvette.

100% wrong. Existing laws allowed police to arrest and / or move the trucks. (Obstructing traffic, excessive noise) Ottawa has an idling bylaw that I guarantee these trucks were violating.   There was no need for the Emergencies Act to be invoked to clear the streets.

Agreed, there are benefits to banning cars from cities, and serious drawbacks, but the premise that the trucker's protest shows why it is such a good idea is way off base.  The problem with the Trucker's protest was the way Canadian Authorities handled it.

Not disagreeing with you that the Accord is an excellent choice, but heated and cooled seats aren’t that uncommon anymore. I believe several trims of the RAV-4 come with it for example (we were looking at Adventures that MSRP for well under $40k that offer heated + cooled seats and heated steering wheel as options -

I saw my first one in the wild last week, a 2-door...I’ve seen the pictures a million times but in person I had the same reaction as you, I was way more impressed with how it looked seeing it in person.

and matter of fact, the guy even tried to cut me off two or three times, and I didn’t want to confront it. So I backed off,”

You’re correct, except the 68 was the best looking.  You’re understandably biased because you have an inferior 69, but at least it isn’t a 70.

I daily one of the smallest cars on the market, I don’t feel unsafe.

The best way to feel safe is to never have a collision.

These fucking things.

My welder would be right up there on the list. Fixing things that you would have otherwise had to figure out how to make brackets and use bolts for and instead you just give it a zap is so convenient. Also I have made so many custom tools that make my life much easier when working with the welder. If you get serious

I used to be all about flipping people off if they tailgated me or cut me off, etc. Now I just let things roll because in the last 30-ish years since I got my license road rage has gone from getting the bird back at you to this kind of shit. Ain’t worth it. Let the other idiot think they win - at least you can walk

Porsche’s entire business model is people driving vehicles they don’t need and which in many cases are an inappropriate body style for the primary use. I have an irrational want for a GT3 Touring, even though I’ll probably never go near a track. Porsche is happy to have my business.

Most 911s are driven on the daily summer commute of affluent middle-aged businessmen. More suspension travel and sidewall is probably a good thing in those conditions.

Mah dude, that is not a facelift, that is a new generation of that car. You could say that the facelifted 1969 Charger is even more iconic than the 1968 you posted because Dukes of Hazzard.

You are showing a 6th gen vs a 7th gen. Same platform, but considered two separate generations due to the amount of change I suppose. What you want is the pre-facelift 7th gen. Shown below.

Not a face-lift.

Counterpoint: Opening the sunroof and all windows when it’s pleasant out is like being in a convertible without the wind.  I use mine all the time.
