All of this assumes the Starship can land upright on the Moon. I sure hope they are able to determine the regolith density and make sure it can support the Starship’s mass. Airlines need to have ejection pods. Taze them, throw them in the pod and hit the big red button. They wake up with a gentle bump (if the parachute opened) and get to figure out where they are and how to get home.

They were used as an alternative to airbags for a while. While airbags were becoming a standard feature, any car that didn’t have airbags had to have automatic seatbelts. I think it was mandated, but I’m not sure. Once airbags became standard, automatic seatbelts were deemed pointless.
