Let's try it out!

It’s not Carl Haas, it’s Gene. Different families with the same name.

Big Renault Megane vibes.

Only one that I’ve heard of that can’t is the Polo GTI and even then I’m not sure about that.

An announcement of a new product from Tesla?

Have you seen Magic Earth? It’s a bit of a PITA because you have to download the maps and map updates ala the old school GPSes, but since it’s an app you can do it over wifi. It’s free and uses openstreetmaps, no google/apple interaction at all.

If it’s a valid line of questioning, sure, but sports reporters pretty much only seem to try to ‘dig deeper’ when they feel personally slighted. There’s a huge problem going on with the NFL right now because the QB for the Texans, Deshaun Watson, has been accused of sexual assault by 22+ women at this point, and all

There is only one reason why I’d say this is NP, aside from the price not being exactly bad having previously shopped around for lightweight tow campers:

Palou has had particularly bad luck with engines this season, compared to everyone else.  It’s a mature engine and there really haven’t been many problems except for his issues.  That was a brand new engine!  He’s going to wind up using six engines and the season isn’t even over yet!

Is it possible to actually watch the racing in person or will you be in the tent-paddock watching it on the screens like all the teams appear to do.

I do not feel that ranch is an abomination as many do. It has its’ place.

The first time I went to Aldi, I had no idea that they didn’t provide any bags. I have no problem bagging my own groceries, but if you don’t have bags then what do you expect the first timer to do when they get through the checkout and expect to at least find bags?

Apples and salty meat is an easy win, looking forward to this showing up in my local grocery store freezer where I can purchase it and a box of white castles and spend a week regretting what I’ve done.

This is why politics-as-sports is both horrifying and amusing at the same time. People twist themselves into knots trying to defend every little thing that their chosen team does in the same way that fans of terrible sports teams always convince themselves that good decisions are being made, or if they just can’t,

DTM is swiftly becoming the local european version of what american series have functioned as for euro drivers for many years, which is basically a retirement plan. Timo Glock, Robert Kubica, Alex Albon to name just a few.

Well, aside from it being a ‘party leader’ instead of ‘entrepreneur with more money than sense’, that is very much it.

I can only assume the seller is aiming for the movie/tv prop car market at that price, in which case it’s a pretty good deal if you need a period-specific bit of car casting.

I keep seeing people saying that the VAG TTV8 is confirmed to be common between Porsche and Audi already, and that makes the assumption that it will go in the Lamborghini reasonable. The problem is that nobody seems to be able to point out where this was confirmed, anywhere. There was a brief offhand mention of

The lambo that crashed had a system failure, nothing to do with driver error.  Driver was a passenger.

You kids have it so easy these days, back in MY day if you wanted to send a drunken screed that ruined your life forever you had to type it up on a TYPEWRITER, put an address on the envelope and a STAMP and then try to to walk it out to the mailbox without tripping down the porch stairs on the way there or back!

Drunk driving just seems like so much less of a problem now than it was thirty or forty years ago, especially compared to distracted driving. For so much more of a vast majority of the driving public these days, this is just another thing that can go wrong, except it will immobilize your vehicle when it does.
