When they started talking about doing this about fifteen years ago, this is exactly what everyone saw coming.  But a decade and a half of the cable companies trying to screw the networks and the networks thinking they’re going to get a huge payday and we get stuck with all of this idiocy.

History. They’re on Motortrend, but in app only right now, and Motortrend network is owned by Discovery.

They were, it was forced on them by the BBC. Especially after Jonathan Ross got himself fired.

Honestly, having watched the new UK TG crew and comparing them with what the trio have done on the Grand Tour, I look forward to new TG more.

I have no idea why they aren’t showing it on the actual channel other than that they want to sell more subs. That being said, I already subscribe to the app for racing and never really watch any of the other stuff on there. They should be doing Le Mans again this year, a free trial then will be the time people check

The guy behind that lunacy is also the guy who was behind the CueCat if anyone is old enough to remember that.

This is not a tiny house, this is a track RV, top gear style.

Very much worth a read:

Jedward was interesting and weird, we can still have some standards though.

Also, black cladding needs to die.

I love the interior of this car and everything past the A-pillar, but what is it with Porsche’s design department that they have to make at least some portion of their non-sportscars look mis-proportioned or just ugly? I’m sure the hood needs to be long for mechanical reasons, but the sort of light-column-hump design

Black cladding makes every car look like a beater subaru.

I was thinking this would be a new supra, not a classic. :(

Because even if it was a funky ute concept from a time when people were really overdoing the retro-design thing, making it required GM to outdo themselves in compromising it. The original engine followed the usual path of ‘put in the crap one for the early adopters and then the proper power later on’, combined with
