If it has steering wheel volume controls that’s fine, but in that case the logical thing to do would be to have the volume snap to whatever you turned the knob to in indicating 12-12, 0-100 volume, and let the up/down buttons on the wheel be the unscaled volume controls.
This would be 100% fine if the upward indication implicit in the power symbol was locked in scale to the amount that the volume changed and could be a quick visual indicator of the current audio volume, but somehow in the video it isn’t and it starts from mute in the normal upright position and then scrolls back to…

Well, it was half of the missing part imo, the other missing part was the drivers being encouraged to use social media as they like. Which lead to this delightful incident:

Lando shows up in Youtube racing stream chats from time to time (checkmark & all) and is pretty funny when he isn’t being harassed by his fans. He was in the Bathurst 12hr stream a few weeks back.

I agree, but given their recent history with sporty cars and fairly well-received EVs I don’t think it’s as far-fetched as I would have assumed five years ago.
