Someone might prefer Xbox-specific features like Quick Resume, the controller, free cloud saves, Play Anywhere, Smart Delivery, the UI, etc. MS also allows dev/pubs to sell keys outside of XBL/MS Store and you can pretty easily earn gift cards via MS Rewards, resulting in cheaper games.

It never does.

Nothing about this needed to be formatted into a slideshow to more effectively communicate the information.

Stop trying to make “Church of Xbox” a thing

This seems like a whole lot of nothing on Twitter. Slow news day?

Me: “I just want a slightly nicer looking and better translated version of the original.”

Yeah did you...not play Remake?

It wasn’t that difficult to infer after the events of Remake alone.

you don’t HAVE to do everything on your only playthrough

Digging ditches is not unskilled labor.

It’s so interesting seeing people characterize the cashier as such a terrible experience. Recently I’ve been getting sick of the wrinklies being too slow at scanning their own groceries, the dude without a bag trying to juggle his haul and swipe his card, the guy typing in the names of weird veggies and failing to

You say that like America doesn’t have the same things today. We call it “prison labor” so we can sleep at night, but it’s still a gulag. Not to mention the slave wages paid to undocumented workers in meat packing factories.

Luckily it appears to be damaged right when it rolls out of the factory and all of the fingerprints and smudges will cover up all the dings. I’ve seen a few video “reviews” (in quotes because they appear to just be influencers servicing Musk) this week and the panels are warbly AF.

you’re shocked that they did the thing they do every time?

Can only speak for me, but... I enjoyed it. I didn’t “hype” (I’ve grown out of that, I find that I enjoy games a lot more if I’m not expecting The Greatest Game EVAR!”), bought it at launch, and played it for 170 hours. And then I moved on to one of the many other big releases that came out at the same time. (just

Because it’s a single player game and over time people become done with them and move onto other stuff? And it also didn’t review as well as their previous games and less people are into it.

Not everything is a live service, it’s ok to be done with a game.

“But I don’t have a platform to write a long winded article whining”

I would argue that the mechanics ARE the core of the game.

That’s mostly fair, but Starfield has an excellent soundtrack that, if nothing else, I think should have earned it a nomination for that.
