The only reason the scalpers exist is because the chip shortage is preventing Sony and Microsoft from meeting demand. There’s a huge difference between “our customers had to wait a month to get our product” and “our customers have been trying to give us money for over a year and still can’t”.

I mean, Microsoft did this with the 360 faceplates. Yeah, there were plenty of them available but they definitely still went with full limited edition consoles. I’m sure Sony will do that still too, they’ve gotta do something with every working PS5 they get back from a retailer return.

I initially really enjoyed the fight against the Warden.  Initially.  The one outdoors at the end of that one level, that was okay, but then the three at the end?  Woof.  Way to take a neat idea and just plow it into dust.

I’m guessing it’s less to do with the open world and more to do with the feature progression. What level boost, or grappleshot, or drop wall do you give the player if they start up the first mission or the 12th?

The absolutely wild thing about all of this is that everything that’s obviously wrong with the game has just about zero to do with the actual gameplay. There’s nothing fundamentally broken about Halo Infinite, it’s moment to moment gameplay is stellar, there’s nothing about this that isn’t fixable and the god damn…
