I certainly can’t attest to anything personally with this Ubisoft story, and I understand it’s not a great look. But if one of those people making $150k can go make $175k elsewhere and Ubisoft will be worse off without them, it makes all the sense in the world for Ubisoft to pay them to stay.

It was shown not too terribly far off the original launch date.  It would have looked better I’m sure (and I don’t think they picked the right time of day for the demo, everything was backlit and flat) but it’s looking like the delay was clearly the right move.

I highly doubt the process outlined only takes two seconds to complete.  Maybe they can generate phone numbers that fast, but I’m sure twitch isn’t going to be able to verify them that fast.
