I think the major issue with involving Shepard is yeah, you can probably retell the trilogy in a movie trilogy, the games do a pretty good job of having contained arcs that would feel really satisfying to conclude on screen.

Hard disagree here. Believe it or not, the vast majority of people don’t languish on twitter all day (or at all). The headline absolutely reads like the character is saying these things and he isn’t.

“Oh god, this asshole again” - My natural reaction to my own reflection
I’ve come to live by the mantra of “Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly”. A ten minute walk isn’t a thirty minute workout, but it’s better than nothing. Getting out of my pjamas at 2pm is better than staying in them all day. Flossing once a week is better than never.
I was legit waiting for that trailer to turn into some really awful fast food chain commercial. Woof.
That’s what you get for playing against Oddjob.
Oddly enough, despite the inherent thirst for conflict that it brings, the ascent of Barstool-ism within the Republican Party can be chalked up to ideological diversity within the GOP. What could unite free-market libertarians, revanchist Catholics, Southern evangelicals, and working-class Reagan Democrats but their…
That’s pretty absurd that you nuke your own statement and then immediately dismiss it. The Switch IS a handheld console, and Nintendo LOVES to refresh hardware, both handheld and traditional consoles. You say no “Pro” version of a home console, but that wasn’t a thing until this last gen with the Xbox One X and PS4…
I don’t understand “spite and desperation”, at all. GhostWire: Tokyo (made by Tango Games, now owned by MS) and Deathloop (made by Arkane, now owned by MS) are both still PlayStation exclusive titles. MS is not only going to continue to release those games on PlayStation, but will also honor those exclusivity…
Yeah, the part he didn’t say out loud at the end of that statement was,
I’m just absolutely astounded you can’t think of a single reason Microsoft would want to draw people to their platforms other than to spite Sony, and not only just to spite, but spend seven and a half billion dollars to do it.
Didn’t gain anything? So you truly believe MS spent 7.5 billion dollars to shit on Playstation players?
Meanwhile PS5 is outpacing XSX 2:1 in sales and still seems to dominate the conversation.
I mean, it’s a business. If I run a business, and my competitor does better in Metric A but my profit is higher, I don’t really give a shit about metric A. I’m not saying MS is going to earn more than Playstation “this generation” (Whatever the fuck that means anymore), but it’s such an outdated way to look at the…
What makes you think MS is struggling? Back in April they announced they have 23 million Game Pass subscribers... at even the base price of $10 a month that’s $230 million a month, and if the numbers just stay flat (they increased by 5 million from January 2021 to April 2021) and don’t increase at all that’s over 2.5…
Here’s how I mostly use game pass: I don’t have to put the disc in. It’s great!
They can all be played on PC, there are no games that are only playable on Xbox Series. As for Game Pass, if it said Game Pass in the conference it meant either on Xbox or on PC. They are going to (or already have?) dropped branding for Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass. It’s just Game Pass now.
I mean, it’s not really the same thing especially considering Skyrim exists on like six thousand platforms. Kratos on Xbox would be like Master Chief on Playstation or Mario on Sega in the 90s. This is more like Sony buying exclusivity from Square Enix for FF16 and FF7R, just on a (much) bigger scale.
