It’s bad for the consumer, but the game was designed with the previous hardware at its core.  I’m fairly confident it’ll get there, but they definitely needed more time and the cynical “release now for holidays and fix later” or “delay again and miss holidays” is likely at the core of it.  Add in that they only gave

That’s entirely fair and really the only objective way to go about it. And now the real depth of how poorly the game performs on consoles is coming to light, whereas all the pre-release coverage was PC only, at the will of CDPR... it’s really all adding up to a much more sour result than the initial coverage led me to

I’m interested in your take on this passage:

Bright Memory is out, Bright Memory Infinite is not.

I don’t understand your argument, the argument isn’t that they would get the additional, denied does by the end of the year (which is in three weeks), it’s that it precludes them from getting ANY more doses until July.

From the lengthy update:

I dunno, it kinda feels like calling out the Lord of the Rings films for having all the tropes of the fantasy genre that Tolkien more or less created because Elder Scrolls and Dungeons and Dragons have been doing it for decades.

Some people (myself included) found Moby Dick far more enjoyable when you straight up skip all the chapters about whaling. Like, yes, it’s a book about whaling, and there’s much information there, but god does the pace suffer. I got about halfway through the book before I realized, “This whole god damn chapter is

Absolutely.  Not sure when though, I just started the Witcher 3 a few weeks ago so I’ve got quite a ways to go through that I’m sure, and there will undoubtedly be plenty of bugs fixed after launch.  I’m not sure I’ll be able to hold off until the XSX/PS5 upgrades are live (they’ll probably get delayed significantly

I’m not sure what the snark about islands is... it’s more counterspace and more storage, two things every kitchen needs more of.  If your kitchen is so palatial and grand that you’re putting beverage freezers and trash compactors in it, the island existing isn’t the real sign of excess.

None of anything you’ve said, which are legit drawbacks of the Pfizer vaccine, are any viable reason to refuse the additional doses (no, cost doesn’t matter). There’s no fucking non-compete clause on vaccine purchases that say they can’t also buy the Moderna product, or any of the future solutions. More doses now =

Well sure, but if I need to go to a space specifically designed to hype the game as proof of too much hype, that’s not exactly in my face.

Oh for sure, it's a totally different set of stories, but the consoles dominating the news feeds for the past couple months hasn't left a ton of room for Cyberpunk hype or marketing in the zeitgeist.  I'm sure it'll ramp up huge this week, but until now, for me at least, it's just kinda been a steady, quiet through

Honestly most of the hype I see about this game is people like you, and Kotaku, saying THERE’S TOO MUCH HYPE and almost... hoping for it to fail for some reason? I spend a hell of a lot of my time online (just not on twitter or reddit) and yeah, it’s had a constant hum about it for the past few months since it’s

It was so bad for me in the Witcher 3 of this type of issue that had to restart the game twice because I burned out twice near the middle of the game and stopped for 6 months and came back and forgot who to meet or what was going on

Many people in the world are afflicted with cyberpsychosis, a mental illness that affects some augmented people due to their implants, a tired trope we’ve seen in games such as Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

You sound pretty offended by this tbh.

There’s definitely stuff you can miss if you’re truly a completionist (a few enemy skills, a couple ultimate weapons/final limit breaks, some summon materia), but nothing truly major before going into the final dungeon on disc 3.

I don’t know! I’ve dove back into the TA 12 days of Christmas achievement challenge, so whatever games I’ve got that’ll get me through the challenges:

Games were meant to be collected, not played!
